Sometime Meal Prep Sunday happens on a Monday…
It is decided, I’m not cooking until I get a cookware set…it is decided, NOT cooking!
That’s pretty much how I felt this past Sunday. I didn’t feel like cooking, I identified everything I was missing in cookware and well I wasn’t “motivated to get it done.” I think I might have caught the “poor me” virus from the middle school library I had visited the Thursday before!
How I got over the”I’m not motivated” drag and got me gears turning.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m a full time Beachbody Coach and Founder of a KICKASS team of Coaches, Fit Latinas. One of my major focuses (aside from helping Latinas build a successful home based business with Beachbody) are Fit Latinas Challenge Groups.
So anyway I reached out to one of my groups…
“Because I don’t feel like meal prepping today, I will post pictures of my meal prep. If I don’t, CALL ME OUT…PLEASE!”
…and they did. So because I like to live in line with integrity & do the things I said I would, Meal Prep Sunday got DONE!
Moral of the story…
You won’t always feel like it and you won’t always be motivated to…Get it done ANYWAY! and if you need help getting your butt into gear, join a Fit Latinas Challenge group.

This month I’m working out to Insanity Asylum in the AM & P90X3 in the PM. I follow the 21 Day Fix eating plan and have followed it since February 2014. As a coach I sell and coach people through this program.

Creating my Meal Plan
Meal 1: Soaked oats (1 yellow, 1 red, 1 purple, 2 tsp.)
Meal 2: Tropical Shakeology (1 red, 1 purple, 2 tsp.)
Meal 3: Medium Orange or Pear + cashews ( 1 purple, 1 blue)
Meal 4: Ground Turkey + Broccoli + Brown Rice + aguacate (1 red,1 yellow, 1 green, 1/2 blue)
Meal 5: Carrots + Jicama ( 2 green)
Meal 6: Green Taco w/ aguacate (1 red, 1 green, 1/2 blue)

This is what we will eat every day for the next 5 days. Weekends are normally open for flexibility during “relaxed” nutrition time. When we mean business, we leave ZERO room for unplanned meals.Do you pre-cook all your food at the beginning of the week? Does it stay fresh all week?
Yes! I cook it ALL. My Food Containers keep my food fresh from Sunday night till Friday night. This works for me and I’ve been doing it for 3 years now.
Do you get bored of eating the same thing every day?
Truthfully…Sometimes. Ray & I eat the same thing every day and typically stick to a 1 week meal plan for at least 2 weeks. We make little trade offs here and there throughout the week like turkey for chicken or broccoli for brussels sprouts. At the end of the day our #1 goal is to get results.
Do you ever cook a nice warm meal and eat it right after? Of course! Mostly on Sundays for Breakfast and the occasional Home Cooked Romantic dinner for two.
What’s up with the colors at the end (yellow, red, purple)?
The colored containers are the meal portions used in 21 Day Fix/21 Day Fix EXTREME. I use them to measure all my food. This is the program I coach all of my challengers through.
