As much as I LOVE authentic Mexican restaurants and sipping on margaritas… results will always be a direct reflection of your nutrition. In 6 weeks Ray & I + hundreds of our closest Beachbody family are heading out to Cancun, Mexico for our annual Success Club Trip…Mission Cancun is in FULL EFFECT!!!

This week, I am following two days of Autumn Calabrese’s Countdown to Competition eating plan, followed by one day of the 21 Day Fix EXTREME eating plan (repeating this for 2 more weeks).

 This eating plan is based on carb depletion and should not be followed more than 21 days at a time. 


Following the Countdown to Competition Meal Plan

Meal 1:Meal 1 Eggs whites and oatmeal with 1 tsp. coconut oil (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 tsp.)
Meal 2: Shakeology w/1 tsp. coconut oil, pumpkin spice + creatine (1 red, 1 tsp, free)
Meal 3: Tempeh and brussels sprouts with 1 tsp. coconut oil  (1 red, 1 green, 1 tsp.)
Meal 4: Vegan Protein Powder + pumpkin spice (1 red, free.)
Meal 5: Cod and broccoli with hot sauce (1 red, 1 green, free.)
Meal 6: Cod and broccoli (1 red, 1 green.)


Following the 21 Day Fix EXTREME Meal Plan

Meal 1: Soaked oats w/1 scoop vegan protein, 1 tsp.1/2 banana & PB2  (1 yellow, 1 red, 1 purple, 1 tsp.)
Meal 2: 2 egg & Japanese sweet potato muffins (1 red, 1 yellow) 
Meal 3: Shakeology w/ 1/2 frozen banana, 1 tsp PB2 & creatin  (1 red, 1 purple, 1 tsp.)
Meal 4: Microgreen Salad  w/ raw pepitas & DIY dressing (1 red, 1 orange )  
Meal 5: Tempeh and brussels sprouts w/ aguacate (1 red, 1 green, 1 blue.)



Do you get bored of eating the same thing every day?
Not at all! Ray & I eat the same thing every day and typically stick to a 1 week meal plan for at least 2 weeks.We make little trade offs here and there throughout the week like fish instead of chicken & Quinoa instead of Brown Rice. Our #1 goal is to get results NOT necessarily to be fancy chefs.

Do you pre-cook all your food at the beginning of the week? Does it stay fresh all week?
Yes! I cook it ALL. My Food Containers keep my food fresh from Sunday night will Friday night.  This works for me and I’ve been doing it for 3 years now. It’s the easiest most efficient way IMO.

What’s up with those containers?
The colored containers are the meal portions used in 21 Day Fix/21 Day Fix EXTREME. I use them to help me measure all my food when cooking, then I put my meals into my black Chefland containers for easier organization…they also make me feel LEGIT! I ordered 2 10 piece sets and LOVE them!!!
