5 Steps to Getting the MOST out of Your Challenge

…THE “secret” to getting the absolute BEST out of your Challenge.

…and THE “secret” to keeping a Healthy Lifestyle through the years.

Consistently implement the 5 steps. 

That’s it.  It really is that simple.  It might not be easy, but it is really, really simple.

This isn’t the fastest or easiest way to lose weight. It’s the most effective, efficient and LASTING way to get FIT and live HEALTHY.

Those 5 steps are:

1. Make the time
2. Create a Plan
3. Gather Materials
4. Cook for Success
5. Shoot for consistency

Let’s dive on in and take a closer look at them now…

1. Make the Time

“Im just too busy.”

Como santos cielos will you ever make the time!? The great news is that you don’t need time. All you need is COMMITMENT. Hey listen we ALL have the same 24hrs, 7 days a week, 12 months outta the year. Sometimes you just have to remind yourself that somewhere out there, there is a Latina running her own business, has 5 kids, is an active volunteer in local community events and somehow I still committed to invest in her health. That’s all you truly need…COMMITMENT. Commit and you will find the time.

Your time is EXTREMELY valuable so this time thing, let’s help you avoid wasting it!  The more you INTENTIONALLY [<— key word] make the time, the faster you will start to make progress.

You make choices every day…prep your meals for the week or watch Jane the Virgin. Think Fit Latina , what choice would a Fit Latina make?

Trust me, making the time isn’t that hard — I’ll show you how to do it!

2. Create a Plan

“When you fail to plan you plan to fail.” 

In this case, I’m referring to creating a meal plan. Results are made in the KITCHEN! Nutrition changes your body from the inside out. Make the time to create a healthy Meal Plan.

Core de Force Meal PlanThis one leads to sooooooo many questions. What is healthy?  How much do I eat?  When do I eat?  How do I stay consistent when I travel?  Isn’t it too expensive to eat healthy?

I have a few tips & tricks when it comes to food.  For example, DUMP the junk! That’s right, just get rid of it. Even before you start following a structured program, dump it out! This is the good ol’ adage at it’s best— outta sight outta mindy creating a weekly meal plan, you are one step closer to living the Fit Latinas lifestyle!

By creating a weekly meal plan, you are one step closer to living a healthy & consistent lifestyle! 

3. Gather Materials

Once you’ve made the time to create your meal plan…it’s SHOPPING time! That’s right, permission to shop!!!

Here’s a Jeopardy questions for ya…

She keeps junk food out of her house and keeps healthy food in her fridge, cupboards, and pantry…what is she?

Did you guess!?

Yes! You’re right!

The answer is, What is a Fit Latina! [ wait should I end that in a questions mark?] no se

And the amazing thing is that exercise is secondary! MANY of my Fit Latinas Challengers start with an exclusive focus on Meal Planning/Nutrition.

I coach all of my challengers with a specific recommended foods list that is easily applicable and will help you MAXIMIZE your results, energy level, physical progress, workout intensity or any other goal you are shooting for.

4. Cook for Success

screen-shot-2016-10-25-at-5-06-51-pmMeal Prep! I have decided that cooking on a day to day is for the birds! After experiencing how GLORIOUS it is to have all of my meals cooked and ready to eat every day, I don’t think I will EVER go back!

Meal Prepping for the entire work week has saved and continues to save me TIME, ENERGY and totally reduces stress in my life!

Ok, so I just have to say this. I have chicas who tell me, “Stef, la cosa es que I don’t have time to meal prep,” oh honey…you don’t have time because you don’t Meal Prep. Period. Trust. Meal Prepping will save you TIMER, ENERGY and will totally reduce stress in your life!

…as a little side note [toot toot], integrating weekly meal prep into my life is when I finally broke through and got a six pack…just saying but the proof is in the flan y’all ( wait is that suppose to be in the pudding?)

5. Be Consistent [ you’re almost at the end, stay with me!!!] 

“What you do every day matters more than what you do every once in a while.”

Let’s say you take steps 1-4, the component that will bring it all together is finding an accountability partner or support group [ *cough* a Fit Latinas Challenge group ] to hold you accountable. Consistency is absolute KEY to creating a lifelong healthy lifestyle and ultimately becoming that Fit Latina you KNOW lies within. I see her already!
